Introduction

"Our winery was founded in 1993 by our father Böjt László, together with our mother, Éva. Our family was awarded 3 hectares of so-called compensation land, to which they bought a little cellar carved into the volcanic tuff rock. Today the Böjt Winery has grown to 11 hectares, located on the slopes of Kutyahegy, Tagi and Bikus vineyards, unfurling around the town of Ostoros. We believe, that the beauty of the vineyard and the soil here still hold many unexplored opportunities for us. Since 2016 the winery has been led by us, Böjt Gergő and Böjt Boglárka. Gergő, with his degree in Viticulture and Oenology, and drawing from his experience abroad, manages all aspects of the winery. The whole family continues to play an active role in the life of the winery, and guiding its path. Our lifelong goal is to constantly evolve, to enable us to tackle new challenges, be it from the changing growing conditions or market trends."
