Introduction

Dézsma pince is is located at Ebhegy in Balatonszárszó, this region of lake Balaton is rich in history, not just in the field of wine making. The cellar was built around AC 1600. In the beginning The Abbey of Tihany used it as storage for their tenth . This is why its name is Dézsma pince as it reflects back to this time. (Tenth means dèzsma in Hungarian). Our main mission is to show you the exceptoinal values of our terroirs through the wines we create. I have been working as a wine maker since 1999, but in 2012 I have met my wife and since then we are making every steps together in the production. The appearance of our wines is important to us, this is why we put a great emphasis on the individuality of their look. When we name our drinks we tend to find a name that relates to us,our life just like Szárszónak is 1 a vége or Elizabeth&Taylor. You can consume the wines in the exclusive shop area or there is an option for take away.
