Introduction

The founders of the Crown Wine House of Eger, the Rácz family, have been dealing with vine growing, wine making and operating a winery for more than 200 years - by now the 5th generation of the family. The family aims to combine the modern technology with the efficient and well-functioning Hungarian traditions in order to produce high quality wines. The winery, with an almost unique production technology in Hungary, not only produces high-quality wines, but also organizes wine tastings and high-level professional events in order to boost the wine tourism. The Rácz family aims to promote the values of the Eger wine region, its wines and wine culture, for that the wines of the Crown Wine House of Eger have attended numerous high-level wine exhibitions in Hungary and abroad as well, the vineyard selected, highest category wines have achieved remarkable successes at a great number of domestic and international wine competitions.
