Introduction

My grandfather had planted the family's first vineyard on Sátor-hill in Abaújszántó in the 1960s, which we still take care of today. After that, my father has continued the family tradition and in 2000 began to deal more seriously with viticulture, buying additional vineyard areas in Abaújszántó and Tállya. I took over the management of the estate in 2017, we currently manage 3 hectares in total, mainly with the help of family members and friends. I consider sustainable farming, the love of nature, emphasis on the uniqueness of wines, clean flavors and the preservation of old traditions to be very important. In addition to acid-proof containers, I like to use traditional oak barrels, to experiment with long-term aging , and at the same time, I like easy-drinking, light-bodied wines, too.
