Introduction
Founded in 1998, György Brezovcsik is winemaker at our estate which owns 25 hectares in the best vineyards in the Tokaj wine region, at eleven different locations. The beautifully renovated and restored winery and 18th-century Baroque Füleky mansion are in the centre of Bodrogkeresztúr village, where is located the tomb of the wonder rabbi Reb Steiner Saje which makes the village a world famous place of pilgrimage. Constructed from local stone, the modern winery that is in keeping with the historic surroundings was voted the Industrial Building of the Year 2011 award in the online poll of ArchDaily com, the world’s most popular architecture website. We are constantly experimenting in the vineyard and do everything to get to know our lands’ characteristics and the opportunities they hide within by making single-vineyard wines, - in vintage 2017 in five different vineyards of villages Mád and Tarcal. FÜLEKY TOKAJ estate wine, single-vineyard, late harvest and Aszú wines all share balance and elegance. FÜLÖP the Phenomenon, Bodorgkeresztúr’s white stork brand, our second label contains a dry and a late harvest wine.
