Introduction

The new age has started in Dunaszentmiklós since the Hilltop appeared in the 90-ies: the age of the fruity tasting, refreshing, easy drinking, elegant vines. Even small vineries tried to cope with the modern technologie so did the former Kősziklás’s founders Ákos Béger and Szabolcs Emmer with success. Even today they are the most innovative and influential vinemakers of the region, and since the neighbor was there friend the „small brother” was taken up and supported by them. So it wasn’t a start from zero for Szilárd as the newly built vinery was handed over in 2018. He is experimenting passionary with new technics, but the mainstream remaind the Irsai Oliver, Risling, Pinot Noir rosé, Kékfrankos made with the good old methods. His vibrant personality, sense of humor, bluffness gives a special experience for the visitors.
