Introduction

The history of HOLDVÖLGY estate started in 1998 with a parcel received as a birthday gift. The estate has grown to 27 hectares today. In the heart of the Tokaj wine region, in Mád, we cultivate 6 grape varieties with professional consciousness and extraordinary care in 7 historically classified vineyard. We have been producing wine since 2006. Our wines age to perfection under the Estate Center, in a nearly 2 km long cellar labyrinth.Respecting the Tokaj tradition, it is progressively technically superior to its product range that represents the richness of the wine region.The assortment of HOLDVÖLGY adds color to the wine list of many Michelin-star restaurants around the world.Year by year, our winery receives a multitude of international awards. Our hatputtonyos tokaji aszú, Culture 2012 has received a platinum medal with 98 points at the 2019 Decanter World Wine Awards, which made it Hungary's most successful wine this year.
