Introduction

When I first arrived in Tállya, I knew I have things to do here. I first took the Oroszlános Hotel and Restaurant under my wings. It was then that I first encountered the grandiose of Tokaj Furmint, and its elegance took me straight off my feet. So I became brave enough to be a proud owner of a vineyard in Tallya. My mission is to preserve the values and treasures of not only Tállya, but also the Tokaj Wine Region. The Lion's Wine Estate (Oroszlános Borbirtok) works with a team every day to preserve all the pillars of the wine culture of Tokaj-Hegyalja, and to combine them with modern elements. Today, the wine estate operates on nearly 30 hectares in the first-class vineyards of Tallya. (Péter Márton)
