Introduction

Pátzay Borbirtok is a youthful, vibrant winery in a fabulous environment in Badacsony at the foot of the mountain. The wines are made with traditon-based modern technology in order to ensure that the minerality from our volcanic soils - which are typical for the Badacsony - are elegantly returned. We work with classic varieties like Pinot Gris, Rieslings (mainly Welschriesling), Chardonnay, Pinot noir. Our goal is to create fresh, crunchy, fruity wines which remind on the warmth of a summer at the lake Balaton even on a harsh winter evening. Therein lies the uppercase summer, they are a perfect match to a romance at sunset on the shores of the Lake Balaton as well as for big conversations. Our wines are made with great care, with the maximum dedication of our chief winemaker Sándor Zsurki in order to give the youthful soul a real pleasure, a cloudless relaxation.
