Introduction

Everything started with a romantic walk on the Szitahegy Vineyard on Csopak. Piroska and István Petrányi fell in love with this picturesque landscape in the late 90s. They established the family owned winery in 2001, only on a half hectare at first. Now the whole estate is 3.5 hectares and later they also opened their lovely wineterrace and restaurant on the spring of 2015 (it is open all over the year). Their main grape verieties are Olaszrizling, Gewürztraminer, Furmint, Syrah and Malbec. From 2018 the young, talented winmaker Ambrus Bakó makes these incredible wines most of which are made by reductive technology. Their main purpose is to bottle the liquid sunlight of Csopak and the Balaton region. Visit them and enjoy the special atmosphere of the Balaton riviera.
