Introduction

The Teleki Zsigmond Agricultural Vocational Grammar and Secondary School and Dormitory of Villány has been providing vocational education in the fields of agriculture and food industry since 1946. This is the only institute in the South-Transdanubian region which offers training in oenology, floral design and ornamental plant gardening at a level recognised both nationally and internationally.High level of staff and material facilities are provided in the school for the trades taught. It has its own wine cellar and training farm, where students can get acquainted with and master their chosen trade.The school has five hectares of vineyards, and it produces and sells its own quality red, white and rosé wines. The school is part of the wine tourism of Villány. We organise wine tasting events in our school wine cellar, and also offer accommodation (lodging and boarding) in our dormitory.
