Introduction
In 2002 I and my husband Zsolt Berecz founded our family estate, Kikelet. We currently own 7 hectares of vineyards of which 5 hectares are in production.I come from the Loire Valley and graduated as an oenologist in Bordeaux in 1994. A few months later I moved to the Tokaj Wine Region to gain experience as a member of an internationally recognised team. I quickly fell in love with the wine region and met my husband to be who was working in the vineyards and gathering experience.The estate is in the heart of Tarcal, a former splendid market town in the Tokaj Wine Region. The Tarcal vineyards have always been regarded as outstanding terroir in the region as several old documents testify. Noble and aristocratic families battled for their ownership rights. Tarcal is one of the most southern villages of the wine region
