Introduction

In 2011 Péter Vida received the prestiguous „Winemaker of the Year” award. The following years important long-term decisions were made by the family and the vineyards were replanted in accordance with the new strategy. After a three decade wait they are at last in the possession of vineyards which can express the true Szekszárd terroir. „Our goal is to promote the idea that the genuine Szekszárd wines are the ones which are elegant and welcoming” With a strong focus on Kékfrankos, Kadarka and Bikavér they believe these wines which best express the unique character of the wine region.
