Introduction

Our history with viticulture goes back all the way to the 1950s when grandpa Volk bought his very first vineyard in 1955 in Villány, after which he started to deal with viticulture and oenology on a professional level. In the following decades, the size of our family vineyard had increasingly extended, demonstrating our love and commitment towards winemaking. Ever since I was a little child, I have actively taken part in our family business by providing support and learning a great deal of all of viticulture's "know-hows". In the beginning of the 2000s, I was ready to dedicate my life to this wonderful profession. I started out by completing an oenologist technical school in Villány, and shortly after I established Volk Winery.After a while, I had extended the business by acquiring additional lands in Nagynyárád, making the overall land used for winegrowing over 3 acres. Viticulture is my passion and it is my ultimate goal to bring people together through the love of fine quality wine.
