Introduction
It was in the 1900s that the Werner family first laid the "foundations" of winemaking, as it was then that winemaking became the family's main occupation. It has been passed down from father to son over several generations, thus preserving the traditional way of making this delightful wine. The family wine cellar and its building, situated in a wonderful setting in the southern part of the Szekszárd wine region, is located in the almost 1000 hectare Bátaszek vineyard. Nowadays, the wines from the winery, which is equipped with modern technology, can stand their ground anywhere in the world, as several of the Werner winery's wines have been awarded ARANY certification. The wine tastings held at the winery create a real "wine-tasting" atmosphere for the participants. The wines can be ordered and purchased on the spot.
