Wines of Hungary has taken its international educational activities to the next level: in collaboration with Konstantin Baum, Master of Wine — one of the world’s most influential wine related content creator and entrepreneur as well as the founder of Cellar Class — the Wines of Hungary online course has officially launched.
Konstantin Baum’s mission is to “make the world taste better,” a goal reflected in his independent educational platform, Cellar Class, which supports wine enthusiasts around the globe with accessible yet in-depth professional content. The Cellar Class Hungary course presents what makes Hungarian wine unique through more than 100 minutes of video and audio material.
The course material provides a comprehensive overview of Hungary’s wine regions, from Eger to Tokaj; its grape varieties, from Olaszrizling to Kadarka; and its wine styles, from Aszú to sparkling wines. The course also explores the history of Hungarian winemaking, as well as its geographical and climatic characteristics, and concludes with a playful pronunciation challenge. As bonus content, exclusive interviews with key figures of the Hungarian wine scene are also included.
The launch of the project is supported by international communication across Cellar Class’s Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok channels, while the content also appears on Wines of Hungary’s own platforms. The initiative aims to reach both the international B2B professional audience and wine-curious consumers, while creating a modern, long-term digital knowledge resource about Hungarian wines — with global reach.
