Introduction

Kúria Sopron Winery is the newest member in the Sopron Wine Region, focusing on producing elegant yet distinctive wines. Kúria Sopron previously operated as a "division" of Etyeki Kúria Winery in Sopron, but we have now become an independent entity, allowing us to devote our full attention to Sopron's outstanding characteristics. Sándor Mérész's expertise guarantees stylish, terroir-driven wines that reflect both the characteristics of the wine region and the modern approach of our winery. The vineyards cover a total of 18 hectares in four plots (Harmler, Weidengrund, Warme Infried, Steiner). The focus is on Kékfrankos, complemented by Merlot and a few newly planted white varieties.
