Introduction

Rustica Winery is a family-owned artisanal winery located in the heart of Szentendre. We produce handcrafted, unfiltered wines, featuring both Hungarian grape varieties like Irsai Olivér and Kékfrankos, as well as international varieties such as Chardonnay and Merlot. The clay-limestone soil allows us to create excellent, full-bodied wines with a well-balanced acidity structure. Our winery ’s name pays tribute to Szentendre’s oldest wine-related relic: The remains of the „Villa Rustica” from the second century proving that grape cultivation and winemaking have been presented in the region since the Roman era .
