For decades, the Sopron Wine Festival has paid tribute to the traditions of viticulture, local wine culture, and regional brass band music. Sopron’s largest free outdoor event returns to its traditional date in connection with the feast day of Saint Urban, the patron saint of winegrowers, so starting this year, residents of Sopron and visiting guests are once again invited to the penultimate weekend of May. Numerous venues, a diverse musical lineup, nationally renowned performers, talented local bands, interactive shows and games for children, food trucks, and a craft market will create the authentic wine festival atmosphere from May 22 to 24 in the “City of Loyalty”.
