Introduction
The love of grapes and viticulture pass through generations in our family history. At present, three generations are working in order that everything would go like clockwork in the Bodri Estate. We started to build the estate in 1999 in Faluhely, which was a woodland with neglected vineyards, small farms and gardens. The first 5 hectares of grapes were planted in 2001. The cellar was built in 2002, and the processing building and the building housing the Optimus Restaurant today were constructed in the following year. Our most important event and wedding venue, the 12-cupola cellar was completed in 2011. We started the development of guest houses the same year. In 2014, the 1,400-m2 Rosé Winery was inaugurated, where larger quantities of wine can be prepared.The size of our own vineyards is currently more than 160 hectares. Most of our vineyards are located in Bátaszék, 16 hectares of land in Faluhely-dűlő with eastern-north-eastern exposure, 12 hectares in Gurovica-dűlő facing South.
