Introduction
After graduating from the University of Horticulture followed by 20 years of experience working with several wine producers, we decided to build our own winery in Szigetcsép. By 2005 we had planted 60 hectares of new quality plantation. Today all the family is working together: Csaba Gál is the founder of the company and viticulturist, his wife Éva Gálné Dignisz is winemaker and their son Csaba Gál Junior is also viticulturist, winemaker, with a Master Diploma of Plant Medicine and Oenology. Finally, their daughter Zsuzsanna Gál is responsible for marketing and wine tastings. The Gál family Winery has vineyards in two wine regions: One vineyard is situated on the Csepel Island in the Danubian (Kunság) wine region, covers 67 hectares, and the other vineyard lies at the lake Balaton (Balaton Upland wine region) and covers 10 hectares. "Our primary target is to find the typical flavour, bouquet and essence of every single type of grape, valuing it and to preserve it in the wine."
