Introduction

The vineyards of the family winery stretch on nine hectares, mostly on the shores of Lake Neusiedl (Fertő-tó), in the vineyards called Steiner, Harmler, Dudles, Kohlenberg, and Kogl, where in addition to the varieties Kékfrankos, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon we also cultivate white grapes: Irsai Olivér, Sauvignon Blanc, Zöldveltelini, Tramini and Zenit. From early times we have preferred red varieties, which is still the case today, but we also make white wines for the sake of our guests, as easy-to-drink options with food. The processing of the grapes takes place in the cellar on Ferenc Lehár Street, locally at the family house. In addition to the modern red wines, the portfolio also includes the "Kékfrankos of grandfather”, a wine made in the traditional way, using wild yeast, which the family is extremely proud of: we like to show our guests this real, old-fashioned, smooth Sopron wine.
