Introduction
The family owned Koch Winery has been engaged in viticulture and winemaking since generations. The cellar is located in Borota, in Hajós-Baja wine region. The modern winery ownes 150 hectares and produces 27 different wines and sells 800,000 bottles per year. In 2014, Csaba Koch, the owner and chief winemaker earned the award of the Winery of the Year. Later, in 2019 he was the Wine Producer of the Year in Hungary and won the award of the Best European Winery. The outstanding ones among the wines of the winery are the Cserszeg fűszeres, the rosé wines, the Cabernet Sauvignon and the famous Kadarka. The winery's red wine cellar, the Vin Art Cellar is located in Nagyharsány, in Villány wine region.
