Introduction

The Story of Nyári Pince Our winery is located in the heart of the magical Szent György-hegy. The foundations were laid in 1978 by my grandfather when he purchased the small press house that forms the center of the winery, which has been the basis of our story ever since. In 1994, my father, Ödön Nyári, took over the development of the estate and established Nyári Pince. In 2009, as a newly graduated viticulturist, I joined the family business and, under his guidance, began to gain deeper knowledge in the secrets of winemaking. In January 2024, my father retired, and since then I have been running the cellar, while remaining faithful to tradition and decades of experience, while constantly looking for solutions to the challenges of the modern world. We currently farm about 7 hectares, and our vineyards are located on the southern, eastern and western slopes of Szent György-hegy. Our wines aim to reflect the unique character of the mountain, and each bottle should give a piece of the spirit of the place. We remain committed to quality and place great emphasis on only bottling wine that we ourselves like. Emese Nyári
