Introduction
Puklusvin Ltd. was founded in November 1998 and still operates as a family business. Initially, the grapes were purchased from local farmers. Since the start a generation has grown up. We had to adapt to the changed market, so we started to expand our own areas. Today, we have reached a vineyard size of 48 ha. With this, we have grown into the second largest winery in the Sopron Wine District. Our plantations are located in Fertőszentmiklós. Here the average annual temperature is 1 C ° higher than in Sopron. Our wines are therefore softer than wines made in other parts of the wine district. In addition to the use of modern technology, we produce wines in a traditional way and only intervene in natural processes to the necessary extent. Our wines are bottled after aging in wooden barrels, and the rest are aged in stainless steel tanks. From the 15 varieties of grapes we produce, we make white, red and rosé wines in dry and semi-sweet versions.
