Introduction

Ács Winery is located in Győrújbarát, a beautiful settlement of the Pannonhalma Wine Region, and its history dates back to the 1990s. György Ács makes wine with 30 years of experience – already hand in hand with his daughter, Edina, who was also captivated by the love of vines and wine, and the joy of creation.The family owns a vineyard of 10 acres, which has been replanted in the last decade. This rejuvenation also meant a renewal of the variety composition: in addition to the Olaszrizling typical of the area, Irsai Olivér, Cserszegi Fűszeres, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Green Veltliner, Zweigelt and Merlot were added to the selection. Thus, in addition to the white wines that traditionally define the wine region, they also make excellent light, fruity red wines and several kinds of rosé.Guests are welcome to wine tastings, and they can enjoy the hospitality of the winery even for several days, as also accommodation is offered in nicely furnished, spacious rooms.
