Introduction

Láng Winery is a part of Sopron Wine Region. We cultivate red grapes primarily, in a large quantity. József Láng - the owner of the company - is an engineer-teacher and an oenologist. He is the co-chairman of the local wine community, he is passionate about fabricating the wines in a much higher quality than before. Doing viticulture the winery puts emphasis on the quality, on the environment protection and at last but not least on the conservation. Our wines are made in a traditional way, the white wines mostly in a reductive way ( like Gewurztraminer, Cserszegi fűszeres) but for example Furmint is made in oak wine barrels. Our red wines are made with skin-fermentation and are ripen in small barrels. 90% of the wines are sold at the wine cellar, and 10% of them are sold to the local shops and restaurants in bottles.
