Introduction

The family has had vineyards since 1885, and the areas that form the basis of the current winery have been continuously owned by the Mándli family since 1969. The winery started its more intensive development in 1995 in a farmhouse in Csempeszkopács, before that a traditional press house and cellar housed the winemaking in their vineyard area in Zalabér. Later, the expansion and renovation of the vineyards began, together with the expansion of the cellar and a technical modernization took place (purchase of semi-automatic bottling machine, fermentation tanks and vessels). From 2005, the use of temperature-controlled fermentation and reductive technology was also introduced.
